Better Group
The Better Group is responsible for achieving the "Better" targets in the Community Action Plan and for taking the lead on those aspects of the Partnership work. The area include Access to services, Affordable Housing, Biodiversity, Carers - support, Choice of services, Climate Change, Cleanliness, Countryside, Culture, Leisure, Public Spaces, Public Transport, Third Sector, Waste, and Wildlife. Membership details are shown on the attached panel.
The group links with the Community Sports Network who deliver all the sports / physical activity targets for the Partnership.
This group is supported by the Sustainability Forum - a Community reference Group, in which you can get involved.
- The Chair of the Better Group is presently vacant.
- Jenny Dixon is the chair of the Sustainability Forum.
Both the Better Group and the Sustainability Forum meet quarterly.
